What Exactly Is Offset Printing?

You probably have heard of offset printing or laser printers before. Well then this is the way it works:

• We take the photographic image of your design that you send to us & turn it into a negative.

• We then transfer it from  your negative onto the surface of the metal. (Similar to the photo etched lapel pins, but that is where the similarity ends.)

• Based on the design you choose we then cut your pin out of the metal sheet.

• Any parts of the pin that will be left without an image on it  are then plated based on the type of metal you choose. (See above).

• The surface of the metal is then smoothed

• We then apply an epoxy protective coating over the entire pin. Why do we do this? It protects your colors from being scratched.

• Then voila…you have one beautiful pin that you can really see the details on.
